Dr. Nong Hong spoke at the “The Philippines as 2017 ASEAN Chair and Singapore as 2018 Incoming ASEAN Chair” Symposium at the American University on November 20, 2017. She joined a panel discussion which examined the political-security cooperation, with particular focus on maritime security and cooperation in the South China Sea.
