On January 19th 2018, a delegation organized from the China Service Center for Friendship & Cooperation with Foreign Countries (CSCFCFC) visited ICAS to exchange ideas with ICAS staff on a variety of topics. ICAS explained its role in improving China-U.S. relations and discussed how to enhance its relationships with local institutions and government agencies. The two sides also discussed the differences between think tanks in China and America.
The 25-member delegation was composed of officials from over 20 foreign affairs departments and representatives from the majority of provinces and areas in China.
The China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries (CSCFCFC) is a subsidiary institution to the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).
