Trade & Finance
The Trade & Finance section of the ICAS Biden International Affairs Personnel Tracker largely includes personnel serving at the Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the White House National Economic Council and other key economics-linked federal regulatory bodies. The primary role of the listed personnel is to advance the trade, investment and financial interests of the United States internationally while monitoring, regulating and strengthening the commercial and financial stability foundations of the domestic economy.
ICAS recognizes that certain personnel’s responsibilities can overlap between subject areas and has no intention of limiting any individual’s influence or role. The objective of the Tracker is to identify and understand the official positions of key players in the Biden Administration who will directly or indirectly impact the trajectory of the U.S.-China relationship in various subject areas.
ICAS will continue to update the Tracker with new and additional appointees as time and circumstances allow.
