Biography

Amanda (Yue) Jin is a Part-Time Research Assistant at the Institute for China-America Studies and a member of the ICAS Trade n’ Technology Program team. Her research interests include the U.S.-China technology and innovation competition, the governance of data and new technologies, and the international law of the sea. She holds a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations from Carleton College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at the Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University.She is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and a fluent speaker of German. Aside from traveling, she enjoys playing Pipa and horseback riding.
