Angela Zhang is an undergraduate student at Stanford University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on East Asian affairs and Chinese language studies. Her research interests include US-China relations, health data governance, democratic institutions, and technology policy. She has conducted research on long-term care systems and health policy, with an emphasis on data analysis and institutional design. Angela has held positions at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office and Stanford-based research initiatives focused on the Chinese diaspora and digital governance. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and has experience working in bilingual research and policy environments. She plans to continue her studies abroad at the University of Oxford.
