ICAS Senior Fellow, Sourabh Gupta, participated in the China-US Young Scholars Forum on U.S-China Macro-Relations at Tsinghua University in Beijing on September 19, 2018. Mr. Gupta gave a speech on the topic on “China-US Relations and the Geopolitics in Asia-Pacific Region during the Trump Administration.” Mr. Gupta later discussed developments in the U.S-China trade war, the South China Sea, and cross-strait relations with Professor Hu bo from Peking University Institute of Ocean Research and Assistant Professor Yang Danzhi from the Renmin University. Mr. Gupta also had a conversation with Ms. Xue Meifang from China University of Political Science and Law on the denuclearization of North Korea and U.S. policy towards the Korean Peninsula.
