Dr. Nong Hong attended the 13th biennial International Sea Power Symposium (ISPS), in Seoul, South Korea, from September 5-6, 2017. This years symposium, Rapid Changes in East Asia Maritime Security: Outlook and Challenges, was co-hosted by the Republic of Korea Navy, the Korea Institute for Maritime Security, and the Sea Lanes of Communications study group of Korea. Dr. Hong presented on the topic, Lawfare Surrounding the South China Sea: Prospects and Challenges.
