On March 24, 2023, the Institute for China-America Studies hosted an in-person U.S.-China Breakfast Roundtable discussion at its office in Washington, DC with the assistance of the Beijing Club for International Dialogue. The approximately 15 participants included former Chinese Ambassador Cui Tiankai and some of the top voices in U.S.-China relations at local think tanks and foreign policy research groups representing the views of the United States and China. The event, conducted under Chatham House rules and not associated with any government or government organization, successfully helped participants better understand a wider perspective on several key issues in U.S.-China relations.
