On July 12, 2023 (EDT), the Institute of China-America Studies (ICAS) and the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) held a private, online dialogue between eminent scholars and policy experts from both countries to share their thoughts and analyses on the current state of bilateral relations. The goal of the discussion was to come out with a clearer, more balanced picture of what potential problems could exist in the bilateral relationship and what steps both parties can potentially take to ease the situation.
Attendance was by invitation only. The dialogue was conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
