The Institute for China-America Studies is an independent, nonprofit think tank primarily funded by the Hainan Freeport Research Foundation in China. Other sources of funding for ICAS include input from our partner institutions led by our advisory board members in the form of joint research and cosponsoring academic events, research grants and independent contributions.
