The Climate, Health & Technology section of the ICAS Biden International Affairs Personnel Tracker largely includes personnel serving at the Departments of Energy, the Department of Health and Human Services, and other key environment, public health, and science and technology-linked policy making or regulatory bodies. The primary role of the listed personnel is to chart out, nurture and regulate scientific endeavors in the areas of climate change, health and technological advancement as well as represent the United States internationally at related forums.
ICAS recognizes that certain personnel’s responsibilities can overlap between subject areas and has no intention of limiting any individual’s influence or role. The objective of the Tracker is to identify and understand the official positions of key players in the Biden Administration who will directly or indirectly impact the trajectory of the U.S.-China relationship in various subject areas.
ICAS will continue to update the Tracker with new and additional appointees as time and circumstances allow.
